The  AEBR has confirmed that it will undertake th following activities to ensure the continuity of the LAB network:

• to involve LAB in the network of universities and border regions,
• to finance together with 2 Euregions the survey to prepare a network of Euregions on neighbour language learning,
• to pay attention to the language obstacle in transborder cooperation by creating a language topic on the AEBR homepage,
• to put the language topic on the programme of the AEBR confenrence in September 2008, 
• to stimulate and support the creation of a working group on langauge learning within the AEBR,
• to publish a newsletter on language learning together with LAB.
